Life in apartment 412

Life in Rexburg is going on as normal. Sandy is still teaching at Shumway academy, where she teaches 3 second graders, as well as working at Western Watts, where she does research surverys over the phone. At first she hated working at Watts, but now she doesn't mind it, seeing as how she does well, and gets paid well for it. Plus, she gets to have interesting things happen, such as guys hit on her over the phone. (But that was only once. Luckily he lives in Florida, otherwise I (Will) would go have a little chat with him. But he's probably like 7 feet tall and 400 lbs, and I am kind of a wimp sometimes, so I guess that I couldn't do much) In regard to Shumway academy, Sandy didn't like teaching there too much at first, but her kids there really like her now, and although she still comes home frustrated sometimes, she likes it. She is going to be teaching there until December, and then in January she will be doing her student teaching (we're still waiting for her placement.)

I am finishing up my semester, and am pretty glad it's wrapping up. I've really enjoyed my classes, but I'm ready for a change. The class I'm ejoying most is anatomy. This last week we had a muscle test, and part of the test was identifying muscles on cadavers (dead bodies). Well, last week I also had a pre-physical therapy society meeting, which Sandy came to with me. It was in the same building that I have anatomy in, so as we were leaving, I asked her if she wanted to have the life-changing experience of seeing a real cadaver. (Ok, not so much life changing, but interesting nonetheless). Well, she wasn't too enthused, but I convinced her (or dragged her). I was pretty stoked, and pointed out some muscles to her, and showed her the brain, but she pretty much wanted to barf, so we left. While we were in there, someone from my class saw her, and that she wasn't too excited, and told her just to say she was pregnant (since pregnant people aren't allowed in there for some reason). It was a good bonding experience for us. Actually, not really. But it was memorable.

Today at church was Sandy's first day in the primary. She got called to the presidency a couple of weeks ago, and then last week was stake conference, so today was the first day actually in the primary. We have an interesting primary here, in that there are a total of 1 kids. Or, I guess the correct thing to say is there is a total of one kid, and he can't talk yet. So, it's an interseting calling. But she said she enjoyed it, so that's good.
