Our Big News

I think you'll want to watch the whole thing. :)

Well, that's our big news.  I haven't updated much on other things.  While we do have a lot going on, we don't have much time to update. But, I don't feel too ashamed. You're not missing much!

Will and I have just been enjoying life together. We love living downtown in Rexburg. It's so much fun!  We have the cutest little apartment. We don't hear any neighbors either and I love that!
Will's still doing the school thing. He'll graduate in one more semester or 5 months! We're planning on staying up here for a few more months after he graduates. Grad school won't start until another year and he'll want to finish his calling in the Singles Ward if they'll still want him. :)
For Valentine's, Will got tickets to go see Colbie Caillat in concert. This will be our first big concert together. We'll be going this weekend, so we'll be sure to take some fun pics.
To celebrate Valentine's Day we just had our very own gourmet dinner. We had amazing steak, baked potatoes, an amazing salad, and chocolate covered strawberries. Instead of spending an arm and a leg at some fancy restaurant, we got to enjoy an amazing meal for about $12 and eat it w/ our remarkable view.  We're so savvy!

Speaking of savvy, I've loved how this month and last month's visiting teaching message has been on provident living. I have such a strong testimony of that, and I'm grateful Will does too. We started our marriage w/ a goal to keep a budget, to track our expenses, to stay out of debt, and to plan some food storage. I know we have been blessed as we have followed the council of our leaders. It makes me sad when I hear people not following the prophet's council. Get out of debt and prepare for your future! It's so important, and it is possible! We live in a tiny little apartment, but we love it.  We've also been able to still have a small food storage. I'm sure we'll live in a bigger place before long, but it works!

Teaching is going well. I sure am learning many things. I really have a long way to go to be a great teacher. But, I'm also learning along w/ my students. They say when you teach you learn the most. Lucky me!

This last Thursday, I took my students to the Brain lab on campus and Will got to show them around. They were able to hold a real brain and look at the inside of the brain. They loved it! I was pretty excited we could do it too. I'm glad I have a husband who is learning about brains. He's so smart!

My twin sister comes home from her mission in October, possibly November if they let her extend. I'm super excited. Will & I both miss her. I give Will a hard time because he never seemed to care that much for her. (They had a true brother/sister relationship). But he assured me the other day that he did miss her calling me all the time. :)

Do you guys remember Adam and Melissa Gulley from the ward last spring? Well, she's pregnant. I was thinking about her the other day and thought, "She'd make such a good mom." Then, for some reason, you guys popped in my head and I thought, "So would Sister Taylor! Dang! When are they going to get the ball rolling?" Then I read your post. WEIRD. That's super exciting though! Congratulations!!!! If it's a girl, you can name her after me. I don't mind. Haha.
